I started playing guitar at 12, guided by my Uncle, an established blues guitarist. Playing music was a way to connect more deeply with the music I loved. Being a fan of music I always felt the next step in appreciation was to get on the stage yourself and contribute to the phenomena. This attitude prompted me to start playing out at a young age and gave way to my love for jazz and improvisational music. I knew through musical relationships you could connect with people and communicate in a way that words are often limited.
Today my passion has lead me to working with artists like Evan Ruggiero, Olivia Valli, Jackie Burns, hip hop artist Freakquencee and many more. I've been lucky enough through these opportunities to perform at SXSW, The Kennedy Center, 54 Below, Birdland Jazz and a special opportunity at The World Youth Forum in Egypt for the president of Egypt and other world leaders. When not working as a collaborator I play with my trio in NYC, combining jazz, funk, rock and soul. I continue to try and grow as a musician via collaborations with different artists and taking on challenges outside my strengths. Lookingforward to working with you or playing your next event!
